From Beauty YouTube to Bible Prophecy. Yeah, That Happened! 😂

If you would've told me years ago that I'd be running a YouTube channel talking about Bible prophecy, the last days, and the crazy world we're living in, I probably would've looked at you like you had three heads!

But here we are.

It really all started in 2020.

When the great "plandemic" of 2020 hit and the entire world seemingly shut down overnight, my husband Lance and I knew something wasn't right. We started digging, asking questions, and trying to figure out what in the world was actually going on.

And let me tell you, that sent me down one heck of a rabbit hole!

The more I dug into what was happening around the world, the more I found myself digging into Scripture, especially Bible prophecy. I began seeing connections between current events and what the Bible tells us about the last days that I'd never really understood before.

Growing up, I'd certainly heard about things like the rapture and the Tribulation. But if you had asked me to explain what I believed about the end times and why, I wouldn't have been able to give you much of an answer.

That changed.

I began listening to pastors and Bible prophecy experts who taught Scripture expositionally, going through the Bible book by book, chapter by chapter, and verse by verse. For the first time, I started understanding the importance of studying the whole counsel of God, rather than taking a verse here and a verse there.

And I didn't just accept everything I heard, either.

I studied different theological perspectives, including amillennialism, premillennialism, and the various views of the rapture. I wanted to know what Scripture actually said, not simply what I'd grown up hearing or what somebody else believed.

That's when becoming a Berean completely changed the way I approached God's Word.

The more I studied, the more convinced I became of the pre-tribulation rapture, Christ's literal thousand-year reign on earth, and the importance of understanding God's distinct plans for Israel and the Church.

And suddenly, the world around me looked very different.

I became convinced that we were watching the world being prepared for the events described in Revelation, and that the convergence of Bible prophecy was happening right before our eyes.

Meanwhile, I still had my beauty YouTube channel.

And don't get me wrong, y'all. I still love makeup, hair, skincare, and all the fun girly stuff! But somewhere along the way, I lost the desire to keep creating content about those things.

It wasn't that beauty was bad. I just couldn't shake the feeling that God was calling me to use my voice for something that would have an eternal impact.

And if there's one thing the Lord gave me, it's a big mouth! 😂😬 It’s a trait of mine that I got straight from my dad. HA! He always taught me to stand up for what was right and to be bold when I did it.

So I started sharing what I was learning on Instagram. But the more I shared, the more I felt that pull to return to YouTube.

I already knew the platform, I loved the opportunity for longer conversations, and I wanted to create a place where people could dig deeper into the things that really matter.

On August 7, 2023, I created the Certainty For Uncertain Times YouTube channel, and the rest, as they say, is history!

Today, C4UT is where I have conversations with pastors, Bible scholars, prophecy experts, and researchers, examine current events, react to videos, and talk about everything from Bible prophecy and sound doctrine to everyday Christian living.

I'm not here to reinvent the wheel or pretend I have some special revelation, cause I sure don’t. I'm sharing what I've learned, bringing knowledgeable voices into the conversation, asking questions, and encouraging you to open your Bible and study for yourself.

Because here's what I believe:

The closer we get to the Lord's return, the more important it becomes to understand God's Word, live out our faith, and share the Gospel with a world that desperately needs Jesus.

And whether you've been a believer your entire life or you're just beginning to ask questions about God, my prayer is that you'll find something here that encourages you, challenges you to dig deeper, and ultimately points you toward the certainty we have in Jesus Christ.

The world may be changing faster than any of us ever imagined, but God's Word hasn't.

And THAT is why Certainty For Uncertain Times exists.
